The command and family of GSM1 Ricky L. Losey have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany this Hero and be there to honor him at his interment service and Military Honors.  We would be privileged and honored to do so.

GSM1 Ricky Losey enlisted in the U.S. Navy in June, 2004, he was assigned to the ACU-5 (Assault Craft Unit) Amphibious Assault Team called "Swift Intruders" at Camp Pendleton.  GSM1 Losey had served 4 deployments in the Gulf in support of OIF and OEF, was very good at his job and committed to the Navy and serving his country.

Ricky was also a devoted member of VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) and of his Church, he also represented the Navy as a member of his unit Color Guard.

Ricky is survived by his ex-wife and mother of his children Jaymie Losey, his sons Noah 5, and Luke 3, his parents Lisa Jones and Ronnie Jones, many other family and friends and the other sailors in his command his brothers-in-arms.

There will be no church or chapel service, we will stage at the mortuary and do a Flag Line as our Hero is transferred to the coach and we will then accompany him and the family to Riverside National Cemetery where we will be present for his Final Honors.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.
