The family of Hector De la Torre, age 97, invites the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in their loved ones funeral and military honors. We are honored to accept this invitation.

Hector served in the US Army during WWII from 1942 until 1946 and received an honorable discharge. We thank him for his service.

After the military, Hector worked in real estate for many years. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grand and great grand father. Hector was also a very giving and religious man, often volunteering at his church.

Hector was proceeded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Irene. He is survived by his two sons, David and Walter; two daughters, Patricia and Carol; six grand children and one great grand child.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the church services to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
