The family of MSgt Mark M. Shrieve, age 74, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their Hero at his funeral service, we are privileged to do so.

Mark Shrieve enlisted in the US Air Force in 1965 at the height of the war in Vietnam, and he did serve "in country" during those years.  He served proudly with the Air Force for 20 years, retiring in 1985 at the rank of Master Sergeant.

After the military Mark went to work in the safety dept of the Dept of Compensation Insurance Fund where he worked for 14 yrs and retired again.

In his spare time Mark loved to golf, go fishing, bowl and ride his motorcycle often with his wife on the back.  He also was a football fan, having played in his younger years himself.

Mark is survived by his loving wife Irene, 3 sons, Tony, Chris and Stephen, 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
