The family of Onne James Garcia, 70, has invited the PGR to participate in honoring his life and service to his country. It will be a privilege to do so.

Onne James Garcia was born on March 3, 1949 in California, to Onelio Garcia and Delia Arce and entered into eternal rest on February 25, 2020 in Covina, California.

Onne served in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged for his honorable and faithful service to our great Nation. Onne served from June 13, 1967 to June 12, 1971 with a tour to Vietnam under his belt.  Onne was very passionate about serving his country, so he was a Reserve for the Navy, Air Force and Army. 

After his service, he served in our community as a Police Officer for the City of Inglewood in 1971, and a Reserve Police Officer for the Montebello Police Department from 1981 to 1997.  His son is a Police Officer for the City of Inglewood.

Onne also dedicated over 45 years as a Technician in air conditioning and heating. He was a member of the local HVAC Union 250 from 1973 to 2015.

He leaves behind his loving family: loving wife, Haydee Garcia, who was a retired police officer for the City of Montebello; children: Yvette Garcia, Janina (Jaime) Garcia, Onne (Erin) Garcia, Camilio Garcia, Adam (Nicole) Garcia, Esteban Garcia. Onne was blessed to be a loving Grandfather to 14 beautiful grandchildren and a great grandfather to 4 beautiful great grandchildren, along with other family and friends who will love and miss him dearly.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission.  Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
