The family of Robert "Bob" McNicol, 74, has invited the PGR to attend the service and military honors of  their Hero, it will be our honor to do so.

Robert "Bob" McNicol joined the US Navy right out of high school in 1962 and served in Alaska.  He was honorably discharged in 1965. He was stationed in Kodiak, AK and was there for the great earthquake and tsunami of 1964.

While home on leave in So Calif he met his future wife Nancy, and they communicated and became friends until his discharge and return to So Cal in 1965  They were married in 1966.  He went to work for the phone company to provide for his new family which soon included his daughter Stephanie who was born in 1970.  Bob worked for the phone company for 37 years until retirement.

Bob was a history buff and loved anything to do with the Civil War.  He and the family traveled to a lot of the battle sites and monuments.  He loved travel of any kind and visited many places including Hawaii and Europe and went on many cruises.  His favorite city in all the world was Venice, Italy.  He also loved Shakespearean plays and books. But his greatest love was always his family which is the reason he and Nancy moved to Utah after their daughter and her family relocated there.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 50 yrs, Nancy, his daughter Stephanie, son-in-law Chris, 2 grand children, and 1 sister.
