!! UPDATE !! RESCHEDULED FOR THURS/MAY 20 SEE TIME TABLE BELOW !!

The family of Nadine Christine Ortega, 33, invites the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in their loved one's funeral service and military honors.  We are honored to accept this invitation.

Nadine was born on December 14, 1987 in Los Angeles, California to Pedro Javier Ortega and Norma Iris Casas, and sadly passed away 24 APR 21 in Lake Elsinore.

Nadine enlisted in the Army 26 MAR 07, serving in Iraq, earning the Iraq Campaign Medal with one star, Unit Commendation Meritorious Medal, Army Combat Medal, National Defense Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Army Achievement Medal and Good Conduct Medal.  Nadine was honorably discharged 12 MAY 2011, at the rank of Specialist (E4).

Nadine was a devoted Behavioral Specialist for teenagers. The teenagers she helped are extremely sadden for her passing.  She was a cherished part of their lives.

Nadine is survived by her daughter, Mariah, 11 years old; son, James, 9 years old; parents, Javier and Norma Ortega; sister, Melissa; brothers, Joseph and Peter; former husband and soulmate, James Simmons (Nadine met James while both were serving in Iraq).
