The family of Danny Lee Foster has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.

Dan Joined the United States Army in 1968, and he served honorably until 1970. With his time in the Army, he obtained the rank of Sergeant E-5.
Served 14 months in Vietnam as a Helicopter gunner. He earned his Army service Ribbon, a Good Conduct Medal and a Sharpshooter Badge.

After leaving the Army, Dan started his own business “Foster & Jackson heating & air. His business did very well mostly in east county of San Diego.

Dan is survived by his spouse of over 40 years, Kimberly Ann Foster. They had 4 children & 9 grandchildren & 1 great grandchild.

Dan is the man that created & started the “Wall of Honor” in Alpine, CA. He worked very hard at helping veterans his entire adult life.
He was a very good speaker & spoke at many veteran’s events.

Dan was also a Patriot Guard member. Dan couldn’t attend many missions, but he helped in many other ways.

Dan was probably one of the nicest men I have ever met. He helped me & others in so many ways.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this is your first mission, go to the initial staging area, and you will be briefed by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or wear casual attire while driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.

Remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and respect for our Heroes—no talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we honor.
