The family of Edward “Butch” Kerwinski has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their hero at his final military hgnors. It will be our privilege to fulfill their request.
Butch, aka Dusty, proudly served in the United States Navy from 1973-1974. Our hero enlisted in the Navy after his high school graduation. At the time of his honorable discharge, he held the rank of Fireman Apprentice (E-2). He served in the South Pacific on USS Haleakala (AE-25), an ammo supply ship.
Following his military service, he had a career as a warehouseman. He spent his last years tending to the care of his aged mother. She sadly passed just a few short weeks before our hero. Butch enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson with lifelong friends.
Butch is survived by his sisters Barbara Dillon, our POC, and Arizona Williams.
