The family of Thomas Sullivan has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.

Tom Joined the United States Army in 1985, and he served honorably until 1989. With his time in the Army, he obtained the rank of Corporal and earned his Army service Ribbon, a Good Conduct Medal and a Sharpshooter Badge.

Tom married Karen in 2024, and they would have been married just one year on October 31, 2025. Tom has 4 children from a previous marriage: 3 boys and a girl as well as three grandchildren.

Tom grew up and went to high school in Minnesota. He then went to College in New Mexico.  Tom obtained his master’s degree and was also a Licensed Pastor. He did many things throughout his life, including being a theatre director for an Arabic Linguistic for the military. Tom was well known for his faith in God and the multiple people that he mentored to their Faith. He will be dearly missed.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this is your first mission, go to the initial staging area, and you will be briefed by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or wear casual attire while driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.

Remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and respect for our Heroes—no talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we honor.
