The family of Joseph Stanley Cuttitta has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their Hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.
Joseph S. Cuttitta was born on December 18, 1933, and was 91 years young as he entered his eternal rest. He served in the United States Navy, June 1952 – 1956. Joseph then attended Seton Hall University upon graduation Joseph reenlisted becoming a Naval Flight Officer on P-3 Orion aircraft rising to the rank of LCDR. As Tactical Control Officer in VP-44 he was onboard his P-3 during the Cuban missile crisis, flying over the Russian trawlers they took the famous photo revealing missiles onboard later published in Time magazine! LCDR Joseph Cuttitta served his country for 26 years in many Commands retiring in 1978.
Joe was a successful real estate broker and owner of American Dream Realty. Joe was an avid outdoorsman and marksman, so much so that he was on the U.S. Navy shooting team. A self-taught mechanic he would take on any “fix it” task, restoring cars and boats and Mr. C was always there to lend a hand, tool, advice and encouragement to the kids of Clairemont.
Joe was most proud of his family and his Catholic faith. He was a true family man and devoted single father to his 5 children and 15 grandchildren

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all PGR are welcome, this will be an accompaniment from the family home to Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery, approx. 12 miles. Please see the timetable if you would like to participate.

You do not have to be a Veteran or ride a motorcycle to attend this mission. ALL PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first Mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain (R/C). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (Car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Please remember that our Mission is to stand tall and silent, with Honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking and please silence and don’t use your Cell phones during the flag line and service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15-mph speed limit. Remember Cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
