The family of Rudy Salas Rocha requests the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his funeral and military honors.  We are honored to accept this invitation.

Rudy was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA.  After graduating from Manual Arts High School, Rudy attended college and studied art.  In JUN 1969 Rudy enlisted in the Army and became a member of the 173rd Airborne.  Rudy did a tour in Vietnam and was awarded the Bronze Star for heroic and meritorious service.  Rudy was honorably discharged in JUN 1971.

Rudy returned home and worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 38 years.  Rudy loved to draw and was an avid cook, preparing great Mexican food for his family and friends.

Rudy is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lucy; son, Sergio; daughter, Lisa; sisters, Rosie, Rita and Rebecca; brother, Ruben, and six grandchildren.
