The United States Marine Corps have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present as the five Marines from the HMH-361 out of MCAS Miramar who perished in a helicopter crash during routine training are flown to Dover AFB.  It will be our honor to fulfill their request.

The Marine Corps have identified the five Marines as listed:

   •   Lance Cpl. Donovan Davis, 21, of Olathe, Kansas, a CH-53E helicopter crew chief.
   •   Sgt. Alec Langen, 23, of Chandler, Arizona, a CH-53E helicopter crew chief.
   •   Capt. Benjamin Moulton, 27, of Emmett, Idaho, a CH-53E helicopter pilot.
   •   Capt. Jack Casey, 26, of Dover, New Hampshire, a CH-53E helicopter pilot.
   •   Capt. Miguel Nava, 28, of Traverse City, Michigan, a CH-53E helicopter pilot.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring the five fallen Marines.  For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, this is a flag line only (FLO) mission at MCAS Miramar East Gate.  For those who would like to participate, please see the timetable and we will meet you there.


TIMETABLE FOR MONDAY, 12 FEBRUARY 2024

0745 – Mission briefing.

0800 – Begin lining Miramar Way on right shoulder.

0820 – ETA of fallen Marines to MCAS Miramar escorted by the San Diego Police Department.
