The family of US Air Force Veteran TSgt Lawrence Devere Starks, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this proud veteran for his service to his country.  It will be our honor to do so.

TSgt Starks served his country in the United States Air Force from August 1955 to August 1975.  During that time he fought in the Vietnam War.  At the time of his retirement he had attained the rank of Technical Sergeant, E-6.

After the war, Larry worked at Desert View Mortuary, Rodman’s Home Furnishings and he owed his own business: Larry’s Touch Up Furniture Repair.  He was also a former Commander of the Apple Valley VFW Squadron 6552.

In his private life Larry enjoyed meeting up with friends at the coffee and donut shop, camping in his 5th wheel with friends and family and going to Laughlin and Las Vegas.

Larry is survived by his wife, his three children, four siblings, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family is asking for a Flag Line at Desert View Funeral Home & Cemetery as the TSgt is laid to rest.
