The family of Tito Paredes have asked the Patriot Guard Riders to pay Honors on their hero's final journey home. It will be our honor to do so.

Tito was 92 years old at the time of his death. He was born on February 6, 1926 and passed on July 15, 2018.

Tito served in the United States Army from January 9th, 1946 to March 23rd, 1947.  He served in the 108th Quartermaster Grave Registration Platoon on the island of Kyushu, Japan.  His platoon transferred recovered bodies for transfer to various cemeteries and to the United States.  He also assisted in the identification of those bodies.  His rank at the time of his discharge was Technician 5th Class.  Tito received the WWII Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Medal, and National Defense Service Medal.

After the service, Tito worked as an independent truck driver in Central California hauling produce for 20 years.  It was on one of these trips that he met his wife Pauline.  He also worked for 25 years as a Machine Tender for Paper Pak Products until his retirement.

He was the oldest of nine siblings. As a young child, Tito took on many responsibilities to help his family persevere during the depression. During those years, he developed his amazing work ethic, problem solving skills, and learned the importance of community, family, faith, hope, and integrity.

Tito is survived by 3 sisters, 8 children, 23 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
