NOTE: VETERAN REMAINS FROM SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY HAVE BEEN ADDED FOR FINAL HONORS. PLEASE CHECK TIMETABLE FOR CHANGE.On Wednesday, 03 December 2025, there will be a total of eight heroes and one wife of an Army veteran arriving from both the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office and the San Bernardino Sheriff-Coroner’s Office:
The Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) will recognize veterans brought to Riverside National Cemetery for direct burial without final honors within the past week. The PGR will be these veterans' family and stand by while the PGR render the military honors at Riverside National Cemetery.
May the souls of these veterans’ rest in peace beneath the green carpet of grass in a nation they helped to keep free. They are not alone; we are their family.
“If we cannot do him honor while he's here to hear the praise,
Then at least let's give him homage at the ending of his days,
Perhaps just a simple headline in a paper that would say,
Our Country is in mourning, for a soldier died today.”NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these military veterans.
