NOTE: This mission includes aircraft arrival. Flight times are subject to last minute changes so please check this thread for any changes before leaving for this mission.The United States Air Force and the family of SRA Century Nikolas Castle, 21, have requested the Patriot Guard Riders accompany their hero from the airport to the funeral home. We are honored to fulfill their request.
Century was a natural athletic and played varsity football and basketball in high school. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force alongside his brother, Ky. He served in the Security Forces and achieved the rank of Senior Airman. During his service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Air and Space Force Commendation Medal, and the Air and Space Force Achievement Medal.
Century had a deep love for the water and a passion for animals, especially training dogs, and enjoyed gaming with his brothers. He was known for his dedication, discipline, and leadership. He was someone you could definitely depend on without hesitation.
Our hero leaves behind his wife, Jaylyn, and their beloved Cane Corso, Skye. He will be missed by parents, Jonathan Castle and his wife, Andaiye, and Nora Redfud and her husband, Christopher. He also leaves behind his eight siblings and grandparents.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this military veteran. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the airport to the funeral home, approximately 94 miles. Please see the timetable if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
