John Tibor Beres, 62, USAF, - Cold War Era/FLO/RNC - 22 MAR 2024

(1/1)

larry43:

The family of John Tibor Beres has requested the assistance of the Patriot Guard Riders in honoring their Hero by attending his Final Military Honors at Riverside National Cemetery.  We will proudly accommodate that request.

John served in the United States Air Force, from 1979-1992. At the time of his Honorable discharge, he was a Sergeant (E-4). Our hero’s AFSC was 2A353, Tactical Aircraft Managment Specialist. He was trained at Shepard AFB in Texas and was stationed at Clark AFB in the Philippines. It was there he met and married his wife Lily, a college student.

Following his service to America, our hero settled in Southern California.  He was employed by American Airlines as a Fleet Service Clerk and Crew Chief at Ontario Airport and LAX. He was medically retired early, after decades at American Airlines. His employment there, afforded him the benefit of frequent travel adventures.

Besides planning his next trip, he enjoyed watching classic movies and television. Our hero also had a keen interest in cars.

John is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lily, daughter, Julie Beres, son-in-law Chett and two grandchildren, Jason (JJ) (3), and Charlie (1). Our hero is also survived by his brother, Joey, and half-siblings, Frank and Kathy.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there, by the Ride Captain (RC). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
