The family of Gary Lee Gamble has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders as he is put to rest and completes his journey of life. We are honored to be there for this hero and his family.

Gary served in the US Army from 1966-1969 as a combat medic. He attained the rank of Private First Class (PFC) prior to his honorable discharge. While in country Gary was exposed to Agent Orange and as a result suffered from Diabetes which after took his life.

Gary’s parents Lois and William Lybolt took Gary in as a foster child at age 15. Gary loved them very much and always kept in touch. Gary and his brother James Lybolt remained close and never used the words “foster child”.

After his Military service, Gary worked in hospitals with troubled and obese children. Gary’s spent much of his time by himself and enjoyed the solitude of being alone.

He is survived by his parents, Lois and William Lybolt, brother James and sister-in-law Mary, and two nieces Emily and Lily Lybolt.

This is a Combat Related death so there will be dog tags.

Please hydrate properly as it will be warm.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.
