When PFC Michael Jeffery McNealy Griffin passed this world on 10 May, 2009, the Patriot Guard Riders were there to honor him and offer some comfort to his family, wife Megan, and 2 yr old son Corey.  Megan is a PGR member

PFC Michael Griffin served in the U.S. Army as a 240 Bravo machine gunner at Ft Campbell, KY.

Now, on the 5th anniversary of Michael's passing, his widow Megan has asked the PGR to be there again so that his family, but most particularly, his son Corey can celebrate his father's life.  Corey was so young when his dad passed that he can't remember, so this will mean a lot to him and to the family.

Megan and Corey are also very involved in Snowball Express, and Megan says Corey is going to love the motorcycles!

We will go to the family home and accompany Megan and Corey about 10 miles to the cemetery for a short service and a flag line.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
