The family of CE1 Damien Brandlen have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this Hero for his service to our country. It will be our privilege to do so.

Damien enlisted in the United States Navy as a Seabee on July 27, 1994. He retired after 20 years of service on July 31, 2014. At the time of his retirement, Damien had achieved the rank of Construction Electrician First Class (CE1), or E-6. During his service, Damien was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Navy & Marine Corps Overseas Service Ribbon, NATO Medal and Navy Rifle Marksmanship Ribbon.

After retiring from the Navy, Damien worked as a federal employee for the NAVFAC up until his recent passing.

Damien is survived by his wife, two children, a son and a daughter, his mother, two brothers and a large extended family.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the church services to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
