The family of Paul Aguilar has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service. It will be our privilege to do so.
Paul served in the Navy from 1977-2007. He started as enlisted, after some time got his commission and retired as a Lieutenant Commander. Paul served in the Gulf War, Operation Desert Shield/Storm During his time in the Navy he earned Meritorious Service Medals (2) , Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals (4), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals (2), Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbons (3), Kuwait Liberation Medal (Saudi Arabia) Kuwait Liberation Medal (Kuwait), Surface Warfare Officer Qualified, PEO TSC Award for Excellence, CNSF 2005 Pacific Fleet Officer Award for Tactics Excellence.
After his service, Paul joined the team at TEA, Tactical Engineering and Analysis in 2007, which provides engineering and information technology services, software and analysis support, systems engineering, and testing services to defense agencies. He was an avid car enthusiast, active member of the POCI (Pontiac Oakland Club International) donor to several museums including the ‘Old Montana Prison and Auto Museum’ in Deer Lodge Montana, as well as the ‘World Museum of Mining’ in Butte Montana, as a platinum donor for their new exhibit featuring armed services members from Montana. He was able to provide his hometown museum with his full-dress white uniform, as well as several plaques for their new exhibit.
Paul is survived by his by Mother Cecilia Aguilar, and sister Felicia Korinko, both of Butte, Montana, & his longtime companion, Debbie Tomlinson of Harbison Canyon, CA. Delores Schelin, mother of his two children: Melissa Aguilar-Galceran and John Paul Aguilar. Melissa and her husband Roberts children; Robert Galceran II 37, Adam Galceran 33, Dennisa Galceran 29, Alexandra Marie-Aguilar Sanchez 28, Arturo Galceran III 27, Antonia Delores Galceran 17, and Aurora May Galceran 15, of La Quinta, CA. John Paul Aguilar and his wife Denisse's children; Nevaeh Angela Aguilar 20, Jazlyn Denisse Aguilar 18, Liliana Jules Aguilar 17, and Natalyn Catalina Aguilar 10 of San Diego, CA.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested and all PGR Members are welcome. We will be accompanying the hero and his family from the VFW Post 2082, 2885 Lemon Grove Ave, Lemon Grove Ca 91945, (approx. 18 miles) to his final resting place. Please see the timetable below if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission, go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
