PART 2The United States Air Force and the family of Federico Daniel Gonzalez, 20, have requested the Patriot Guard Riders accompany their hero to Riverside National Cemetery for final military honors. We are privileged to fulfill their request.
Airman Gonzalez was serving with the 343rd Training Squadron, JBSA Lackland AFB, TX (AETC). Tragically, he was struck by a truck while attempting to cross the road and succumbed to his injuries.
Federico was a 2022 graduate of Banning High School and entered the United States Air Force in 2024. He completed technical school and achieved the rank of Airman. His duty station was to be Guam.
Federico was noted to be a “loving, happy-go-lucky young man,” “sweet and funny, and always had a smile on his face” as noted by two who individuals who knew him on base.
Preceded in death are Federico’s parents Micaela Fernandez and Federico Gonzalez, and brothers John and Pedro Romero. He is survived by six sisters, Carmen, Mayra, Marebel, Jessica, Jacqueline, and Jennifer, many nieces and nephews as well as a host of beloved family members. He will also be missed by his brothers and sisters in arms.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this military veteran. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the funeral home to the cemetery, approximately 30 miles. Please see the timetable if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery we will meet you there.

If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain (RC). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum.
