The family of William “Bill” Huffstutler has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Bill was a Korean War veteran who served his country in the US Navy from 1947 to 1951.  For his service he was awarded the Korean War Service Medal, the Japanese Occupation Medal and the Navy Occupation American Theater Medal.  At the time of his discharge he had attained the rank of ME3 (Metalsmith Petty Officer 3rd Class).

In civilian life Bill was a Warehouse Superintendent of Fedco where he worked from 1957 - 1989. He enjoyed watching and listening to baseball, he loved reading and he loved his family.

Bill is survived by his 3 daughters, 2 sons, 1 sister, 2 brothers, 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

The family has requested a Flag Line at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery as this hero receives his final honors.
