The family of Richard Patrick Trotter has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to be present to honor their Hero for his service to his Country. It will be our privilege to do so.

Richard was 85 years old. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired as a Brigadier General. Richard entered the Marine Corps in 1955 and retired in 1989. Of the many awards/citations, he was the recipient of the Silver Star. His wife says the love of his life was the Marines, his country and then her

After the military Richard worked for FDIC Government Banking for twenty plus years.

Richard was a very educated man, 12 years of college. Both his parents were professors. His wife Carol said his whole life was dedicated to the Marines and education.

Some of Richard’s pastimes included swimming, gardening and spending time with his dogs. He was also involved in the Eagle Scouts.

Richard is survived by his wife Carol, his children and grandchildren.
