This mission is a little out of the ordinary but this is a mission that needs to be done for two reasons.
1. This is for the celebration of life of a great young man who is the son of one of our own, Ride Captain Paul "PeaceKeeper" Anderson.
2. For all of our brothers and sisters of the PGR to show how much we care and that we will be there for support and have the Anderson family's back.
Our young hero was assigned to the 82nd Army Airborne 4th Brigade Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He was born Feb. 16, 1985 Died Nov. 11, 2013.
Paul Anderson, "PeaceKeeper" as he is known to us, first crossed paths with Cesar when Cesar was just 8 yrs. old. It was one of those meetings that put both of their paths on a course that would join their lives together forever. Cesar was without a father figure so Paul became not only his father figure, but his mentor, and eventually his Dad. Whenever things got tough for Cesar growing up, Paul was always there and between the two of them formed a bond that could never be broken.
As Cesar grew up his path again changed course and it led him to join the United States Army. Once he was introduced into the Army way of life, this changed his life. It was then that he learned about the Army Airborne training. Although worried he wouldn't make it, he pursued his endeavor. He passed with flying colors, and finally obtained his jump chute badge...Cesar was very, very proud of this and couldn't wait to tell Dad about what had happened in his journey of life.
Of course when you listened to Paul talk about this, and saw the glow in his face you could tell he was a proud Dad .
Cesar's Commanding Officer has said that Cesar was the kind of soldier that he would like everyone in the platoon to be like. He was always dependable, and reliable. If someone needed help he was right there to help . Cesar knew the possibility to deploy was high and was ready to accept that challenge and held his head high and proud when it came to doing his job.
Although Cesar's life ended way too early, he accomplished much in his young life. Cesar is a hero and was willing to do a job that few would ever think of doing, and even fewer would ever accomplish.
Please extend this heroes celebration of life to Paul and his family and let him know that Cesar will never be forgotten....
HE IS ONE OF OUR OWN...... Honors for our hero will coincide with the Veterans Without Family at the same shelter .

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
