The family of David Robert Boulton has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Dave was born on December 30, 1936 in Los Angeles, CA. and went to school there. He loved horses and had a childhood companion, his horse Chalky.  He was an only child until his brother was born 18 yrs. later. Dave passed away peacefully  Dec 11th., 2019.

After his discharge Dave moved to San Diego and became an apprentice brick mason.

In 1961 he married Marilyn Alexander. They were married 58 years and had 2 children, daughter Sherry and son Richard.

He spent the next 50 years as a bricklayer and then became a Masonry Contractor in 1998. He was a business owner for 15 years, during which time he worked for Red Skelton, Theodore Geisel "Dr. Seuss", John Coleman, announcer for the Padres baseball team, and Tony Gwynn, Padres baseball player.

Dave was a cowboy at heart and loved horses. His favorite sport was fishing, especially fly fishing. He would take his family and go camping to Montana, Idaho, and Northern California. He taught both of his children camping and fishing and enjoying the outdoors.
