The family of SgtMa Lawrence Loo has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their Hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Lawrence Loo enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps on July 1952 and served till 1984 achieving the rank of Sergeant Major.  Lawrence was with the 1st Marine Division and the 5th Marine Division.  He served proudly in Korea and Vietnam and was awarded a Purple Heart.

Lawrence was raised in Hawaii where he developed a fondness for deep sea fishing and swimming.  He was very involved in community activities volunteering as a referee for Volley Ball and Football leagues.  He enjoyed spending time with family.  He also had a great fondness and pride about his service in the U.S. Marine Corps.  He would talk and reminisce often of his time in the Marines.

Lawrence is survived by his wife Alice, 11 children (one daughter preceded him in death), 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
