This will be a two part missionPart 1The family of SGT Dwight W Burn has asked the Patriot Guard to stand with them for the return of their hero and we are proud to do so.
SGT Burn perished when the Chinook helicopter on which he was the crew chief crashed during training at Ft. Bliss, TX.
The 27 year old resident of Bastow was well respected and loved by all who knew him.
SGT Burn enlisted in the United States Army in 2010 as a CH-47 Helicopter Repairman and was later assigned to the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division. He was awarded the Air Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, NATO Medal and the Army Aviation Badge. He served in Afghanistan with the 82nd from September 2011 to September 2012.
SGT Burn loved his two children and spent as much time as he could with them. In addition he enjoyed basketball, video games, and various outdoor activities with his friends.
SGT Burn is survived by his daughters Violet age 7 and Vivian age 4, as well as his Mother, Judith Burn and his Father Romel Perdomo.

This mission involves an aircraft arrival. Arrival times can change at the last minute so please check this thread for any last minute changes before leaving. You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
