The family of Cpl Michael George-James Samson, 32, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend his funeral service and we would be honored to do so.

Michael Samson enlisted in the USMC in 2003 and served admirably for 4 years, including two deployments to Iraq.  He was honorably discharged in 2007 at the rank of Corporal.  Cpl Samson was a proud Marine.

Michael returned to civilian life and enjoyed many things including riding motorcycles, fishing, hunting, target shooting, and surfing.  He was also a sports fan and especially loved the Dodgers and the L.A. Kings.

Michael is survived by his wife Jen, his parents Julie and Mike, and his sister Kristen, as well as extended family and friends.

Brave Warrior Cpl Michael Samson, you will NOT BE FORGOTTEN!

This is a Combat Related mission and there will be dog tags.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.

Please post your condolences at the National link:
