Part 2

On Saturday, 26 OCT 13, the PGR will attend the services of SPC Zachary J. Carpenter, 26, U.S. Army.  We are doing so at the invitation of the family and the U.S. Army and we are very honored to do so.
 
SPC Zachary Carpenter enlisted in the U.S. Army in June, 2008, he was most recently stationed at Ft Lewis, WA and attached to 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), who he served with when deployed to Afghanistan in 2011/2012.
 
Zachary was a long time resident of Oxnard as are other family members.  His father, Gordon Carpenter, is a PGR member.
 
SPC Carpenter is survived by his wife, Lindsey, his son Trevor, his parents Gordon and Pam Carpenter, and his brother Levi Carpenter.
 
Both the services and the interment site are located on the same property.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
