The Patriot Guard is honored to accompany Sgt Christopher Ruiz for this last ride and final services.

Sgt Christopher Ruiz served in the U.S. Marine Corps from August, 2004 to July, 2014 when he was honorably discharged and transferred into the USMC Reserves where he was still currently serving.  At the time of his passing Sgt Ruiz was working for the U.S. Govt as a private contractor assigned to the military in Afghanistan and a plane he was on with other active duty crashed on the runway.

Sgt Ruiz loved the Corps and loved his country and was very happy to continue serving and supporting his beloved USA.  Chris also loved riding motorcycles and his wife tells us he would love that the PGR will be there to accompany him on his last ride.

Chris is survived by his wife Lorelyn, his 3 children, Brooklyn, 5, Carter, 3, and Aria, 1, and several siblings.

There will be no contracted escorts for this mission. The PGR has been asked to assist in the accompaniment of Sgt. Ruiz and his family from the mortuary to the church and from the church to RNC.

PGR members will be asked to act as pallbearers until Sgt. Ruez reaches RNC.

The PGR will accompany Sgt Ruiz 3 miles to  St Vincent Ferrer Church, 27931 Murrieta Rd, Sun City, CA 92586.

Upon arrival at the church the PGR will provide dignified transfer from the coach into the Church. At that time the PGR will remove, fold, and safeguard the American Flag. Church members will replace it with a Pall for the services.

Following the services the PGR will replace the Pall with the American Flag. The PGR will then accompany Sgt Ruiz 16 miles to Riverside National Cemetery.

Dream like you will live forever.
Live like there is no tomorrow.
When the world calls 911
The American Military answers the phone.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.

Please post your condolences on the National link:
