The family of SPC Kevin Jones has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to help honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

SPC Jones was attached to the 1st Battalion 34th Infantry, Alpha Company at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina.  He had just recently enlisted in the Army and was starting his military career.

SPC Jones is survived by his parents and 4 siblings.

We have been asked to perform a Flag Line at the Funeral Home in National City, then accompany our Hero and Family to Greenwood Memorial Park in San Diego, a distance of approximately 4 miles.

Our Hero was Active Duty so there will be Tags for this mission.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the Funeral Home to his final resting place.  For those who would prefer to go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.  Please see the timetable if you would like to participate

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission.  Everyone is welcome.  We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car.  If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
