Through the support of our friends at Risher Mortuary, the family of Navy Veteran Ruben Garcia has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their hero for his service and sacrifice to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.

Ruben Albert Garcia was born to Lupe and Jose Garcia on February 25, 1931 in Los Angeles, California and entered into eternal rest on January 31, 2016 at his home in West Covina, California.

Mr. Garcia served with the US Navy from 1951 to 1955 in Patrol Squadron Six. He was awarded the Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon, Korean Service Medal, and National Defense Service Medal and earned the rank of Aviation Structural Mechanic Petty Officer 3rd Class (AM3) at discharge.

Following military service, Ruben was employed as a Buyer in the food industry.

Ruben Garcia is survived by wife Isabelle, daughters Dianne and Barbara, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and is preceded in death by son Ruben Jr.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission, go to the staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please ride/drive safely.

Please post your condolences for the family at the National link:
