The family of Bill Bumgarner have asked the Patriot Guard Riders to pay Honors on their Hero's final journey home. It will be our honor to do so.

Bill was 89 years old at the time of his death. He was born on July 23, 1928 and passed on July 21, 2018.

He served in the United States Army from 1943 - 1952 during WWII. Bill was a Diesel Mechanic with the Third Army, 364th Engineer Light Equipment Company in Mannheim, Germany.

Among his awards were the WWII Victory Medal, Army Occupation Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal.  Bill attained the rank of Corporal at the time of his discharge.

After the service, Bill worked as a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic.  He loved classic cars and people, he just loved life in general.

Bill is survived by his wife Patricia, daughters Nancy, Melissa, Stacy, and Lisa, 5 grandsons, one great granddaughter.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
