The family of Annette Louise McMillin has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their Hero for her service to her country. It will be our privilege to do so.
Annette was born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, on 07 October 1947 and entered Eternal Rest on 26 February 2022.
At the age of seventeen, Annette joined the Air Force in 1965 and was honorably discharged in 1968. Annette did her basic training and tech school at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas, where she became a medic. Her other duty stations included Otis Air Force Base, Massachusetts, and bases in Missouri and Louisiana. She was to be sent to Vietnam, but she became ill with the Epstein Barr virus that she contracted from a patient. It is believed that gave her MS and caused her discharge. Eventually, that is what caused her passing. She died of MS and a stroke. She was 74 years of age.
She worked at Social Security in San Diego and then at the U.S. Postal Service in the Spring Valley Post Office.
Annette loved doing crafts, and she loved to draw. She was an excellent artist. She loved animals.
She is survived by her two half-sisters, Rita Niccolini and Michelle Costa, both of Hershey, Pennsylvania.

For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the Hero and her family from the mortuary to the cemetery, approximately twenty miles. Please see the timetable if you would like to participate. We will meet you there for those who would rather go directly to the cemetery.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this is your first mission, go to the initial staging area, and you will be briefed by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or wear casual attire while driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and respect for our Heroes—no talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we honor.
