The family of Albert Charles Ehlow has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to pay honor to this American Hero.  It will be our honor to do so.

Albert served in the US Marine Corps July 1956 to July 1959, as a Corporal.

Albert is better known by all as “Ace”. He was very proud of his time in the Corps and later served as the Commandant of the Marine Corps League-South Coast Detachment.

Upon his discharge from the Marine Corps he was employed by the City of San Clemente.  He eventually retired after having achieved the position of Police Chief of San Clemente in 1992.

Albert graduated from the FBI National Academy in 1980 and remained an active supporter of Law Enforcement and Marine Corps throughout his retirement.  Albert and his wife loved to travel and see the world.  He loved history and was a big John Wayne fan.

Albert is survived by his wife of 58 years Marylin, his three sons, Albert Jr., Larry and David, 8 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.  For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be honoring our hero with a Flag Line only at the cemetery.  Please see the time table if you would like to participate.
