The family of Kenneth Ray Lantz, age 54, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service.  It will be our privilege to do so.

PFC Kenneth Lantz served in the US Army from Aug 28, 1984 – Oct 20, 1994 when he was honorably discharged. In his years of service, Kenneth Lantz was awarded the Army Achievement Medal (4), Army Good Conduct Medal (2), National Defense Medal, Overseas Ribbon, Driver Badge, Rifleman Badge.

Kenneth in civilian life was a Teamster Senior Forklift Operator, specializing in putting up and breaking down trade shows at Hotels and Convention Centers, he worked on ComicCon every year. He was a lifelong supporter of the military and belonged to both the American Legion and VFW.  He loved sports, racing and NASCAR.  He loved singing, both Karaoke and with a band of buddies.

Survivors are wife Rose, daughter Lauren Lantz, step-children Malena, Joe & Cory, sister Robin, brother Kevin, and 6 step-grandchildren.
 
NOTE: There will be motor police escorts on this mission. Please arrive quietly as the service will be started during arrival time.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the chapel services to his final resting place, approx 20 miles. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

1400 – Arrive at Miramar National Cemetery

1430 – Service with Military Honors and Flag Line of honor

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
