Part 2 of a 2-Part Mission

The United States Marine Corps and the family of Sgt Phillip J. Evans, 28, have requested the Patriot Guard Riders to be present for their Hero's fully military honors.

Phillip was born on August 6, 1997, in Torrance CA to Sandra Patricia Evans and Peter Joseph Evans.  Phillip grew up in Moorpark CA where he found his place in sports and weightlifting.  Phillip leaves behind his wife, Abigail, his stepson Braxton and his daughter Avery whom he loved dearly.  He also leaves his mother and father, brother Ricardo & Meagan Santos; sister Eunice & Jared Sanders; brother Alejandro & Sierra Santos; and sister Celina & Miguel Rodriguez; as well as 4 nephews (Nathan, Tony, Mason and Zeus) and 5 nieces (Lucy, Everly, Jordan, Tierney and Athena) to cherish his memory along with other family and friends.

Phillip proudly served our country for 8 years in the United States Marine Corps and earned the rank of Sergeant.  He was an outstanding Marine and Firefighter. He was deeply respected and admired by every member of his team.  His last duty station was Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii where he was known for his overwhelming positive impact on their mission and every Marine he came into contact with.

Phillip was the most loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend you could ever have.  Phillip will always be remembered for his heart of gold, loyalty, sense of humor and love for family, friends, and his Country.  Phillip will be truly missed by all his family and friends and will never be forgotten.  We will always keep him in our hearts.

Til Valhalla, we love you forever.
