The family of Omar Keith Skiver, 98 yrs of age, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend his funeral service and honor him.  We would be highly honored to do so.

Omar Keith Skiver enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1943 in response to our country's need in World War II.  He was a fighter pilot and was decorated for his actions, primarily flying P51s with the 506 Fighter Group, 7th Fighter Command, 457th Fighter Squadron. Omar was honorably discharged in 1947 at the rank of Lieutenant.

Omar grew up in Riverside,CA and built his dream home after the military with his bride in Turtle Rock.  He loved laughter, wine, golf, dinner parties, but mostly he was fiercely patriotic to his country.

Omar is survived by his son Matt, two grandsons Nathan and Jeremy and 3 great grandchildren, Olivia, Caeden and Reilly.
