The family of Louis Tranquil Guglielmetti has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do.

Louis served proudly in the US Army as a heavy weapons Infantryman during the Korean War.  Louis was awarded two Bronze Stars, Combat Infantry Badge, Korean Service Medal and United Nations Korean Service Medal.

Louis was a dairy farmer and his dairy farm in Mission Valley was the land where Qualcomm Stadium now stands.  He enjoyed his grand children and his great grand children.  Family was precious for Louis.  He was loved by all and he leaves quite a legacy for his family and friends.

Louis is survived by his two daughters and a brother.
