The family of Rudolph S. Leyvas has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their hero for his service and sacrifice to his country. We are honored to do so.

Rudolph served in the United States Army at the close of the Vietnam era from 1973 to 1976. During his service as an Infantryman, he was awarded the National Defense Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, ARCOM, AAM, and EIB.

In his civilian life Rudolph worked for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation as a Correctional Officer for more than 27 years.  Rudolph was also an avid motorcyclist for over 40 years.

Rudy is survived by his loving wife Lillian Leyvas of Lancaster and his six children; son Rudy Leyvas, son Henry Leyvas, son Richard Leyvas, daughter Michelle Leyvas Raabe, daughter Linda Leyvas Nichols and daughter Christine Leyvas Davis. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren as well as his siblings; Rudy, Hank, Yolanda, Nicole, Linda, Barbara, Lupita, Lorie, and David.

1130 Flag Line as our hero is transferred to the chapel for services and Military Honors.

1300 Military Honors inside the chapel

1315 Flag Line as our hero to the coach for his return to the mortuary.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage. Please ride/drive safely.
