The family of Leonard Joseph Sauceda, 68, USA, Vietnam VET, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.
 
Leonard proudly served in the US Army 1968-1969.  He was deployed to Vietnam and honorably completed his duty and commitment.
 
Upon completion of his service to our Country Leonard worked in Construction for several years.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing and watching old cowboy movies.
 
Leonard is survived his wife: Darla Sauceda, mother; Elvira Munoz, sisters; Rita Aguilar, Terry Martinez, Irma Rodriguez, Brother; Tony Munoz, Daniel Munoz, sons; Ruben Sauceda and Michael Sauceda, daughter; Tina Robinson, Tina Castro, Jeana Godwin, grandchildren; 12, great grandchildren; 3.
 
The family has requested an accompaniment to Miramar Cemetery
 
Note: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there

0900 – Flag line for distinguished transfer from home to vehicle.
 
0910 – KSU for accompaniment to Escondido to meet other family members.  (approx 36 miles)

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
