The US Army and the family of SPC Christine Faith Armstrong, 27, have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the services for this Hero, we would be honored to do so.

SPC Christine Faith Armstrong, 27, enlisted in the US Army in February, 2014.  She was stationed at Ft Hood, TX and sadly perished in a accident along with 8 of her fellow soldiers during training.

SPC Armstrong was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 16th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Armoured Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry.  During her time in the Army she served deployment in the Global War on Terrorism, and in Korea.

SPC Armstrong was born in Camp Lejeune, NC, into a military family.  Her father is a Marine who served proudly.  The family moved around a lot and finally settled in Twenty-nine Palms, CA, where she graduated High School in 2007. Growing up, she and her sister talked about enlisting in the military and following in her father's footsteps serving their country. As it turned out her sister got married before she could enlist, but Christine fulfilled her dream of enlisting at age 24.

Christine is described as a generous, friendly person, who always tried to look after everyone around her. She was a wonderful Aunt who gave her nephews piggyback rides and was a kind, loving and happy person.
She will be missed by all those who knew her, her family, her friends, and her fellow soldiers.
