The family of Nicholas "Nick" Males has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders to honor this American Hero; it will be our honor to do so.

Nick was born on December 22, 1987 to Cynthia Garza and Joe Selso Males in Whittier, California.

Nick proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 2010 to 2015. He was with the 15th Marine Expedition Unit in non-combat support deployment serving on the US Peleliu, USS Pearl Harbor and the USS Dubuque. Nick had earned the rank of Corporal at the time of his honorable discharge.

He enjoyed riding his Harley and cruising in his 1951 Chevy, but the most and best thing about him was that he loved his family.

Nick is survived by his children Cash J. Leyva, Faith Males and Mia Males, brother's Joey Males, Christopher Males, sister Jessica Males, parents, Joe and Cynthia Males;
as well as many other family members and friends who will love and miss him dearly..

NOTE: The family has requested that we wear the color purple somewhere on your dress to show respect for their loved one. Nick's favorite color was purple.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

The weather is predicted to be hot so please stay hydrated and don't forget to eat; it can make a difference with your ability to withstand the heat.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.

Please post your condolences to the National link:
