The family of Daniel Gudino has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard when they honor their hero on 09 July 2016. We will be honored.

Daniel served in the US Navy from March 2010 to July 2015 as a BMSM aboard the USS Doyle out of Norfolk, VA. He was active in the deployment of the RHIB in over 50 boat evolutions leading to the seizure of over 590 kilograms of narcotics during counter illicit trafficking operations. He also earned the NEY award for the Doyle.

Daniel was a standout wrestler and placed in the California finals. He was an MMA fighter and actor with a role in the movie Hand and Honor.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Megumi, his son Noah, his father Oscar and mother Anntionette. He also leaves behind three sisters; Reanne, Maryanne and Roxanne and their families.

A celebration of life is planned, there will be no interment, the Hero's urn will return home with the family.
