The family of Robert Bruce Cahill has invited the patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Robert proudly served in the US Air Force, from 1959 to 1963.  He was an IBM Systems Programmer and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant.  Robert was assigned to Ellison Air Base in Alaska and was awarded the Unit Citation Award and Airman of the Year Award in 1962.

Robert was a Salesman after his service to our Country.  He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them and was also very fond of his dogs.  He enjoyed working around the house and spending time outdoors.  He obtained his pilot’s license and truly loved his time in the air.

He is survived by Spouse-Sherryl Cahill; Sons-Mark, Eric, Trevor and Braydon Cahill; 13 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.

The family is requesting accompaniment from the Funeral home in Escondido to Miramar National Cemetery.
