The US Marine Corps and the family of Sgt Chasen Robert Upshaw, 26, have invited the PGR to accompany the Hero and his family and attend his service and Military Honors, it will be our honor to do so.

Sgt Chasen R. Upshaw served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 8 years. He was assigned to a USMC training school in Quantico, VA as a machine gun instructor.

He was recently given an opportunity to leave a legacy and honor his Marine brothers from the Vietnam War by being one of the eight Marines who will be used in a statue to be added to the Marine Museum showing Marines in combat in Operation Starlite in Vietnam.

Chasen loved riding his motorcycle, something he enjoyed with his father, many other family members and friends.  Having the PGR there would be very meaningful to him as it is to his family.

Chasen is survived by his wife Jessica, 3 children, his father Robert, his mother, Patti, his extended family and friends.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the staging location to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

NOTE: Temperatures are expected to be very high this week, please hydrate the day before and day of the mission, and do not forget to eat, it can effect your ability to withstand head exhaustion.
