The family of Officer Greggory Casillas and the Pomona Police Department invites the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in their loved ones funeral. We are honored to accept this invitation.

Officer Casillas began his road to becoming a Police Officer in 2014 by working for the Pomona Police Department as Records Specialist and then as a jailer in 2015.  It had always been his dream to become a Police Officer.

In September 2017, Greggory completed the San Bernardino Sheriffs Academy and began his field training as Pomona Police Officer. His training officers said he was a fast learner, respectful, intelligent, compassionate and an outstanding communicator.

On Officer Casillas's last night of training he and his partner were involved in a vehicular pursuit. An officer involved shooting occurred and sadly Officer Casillas died from gun shot wounds.

Officer Casillas is survived by his wife, Claudia, two children, loving parents and brothers.

Note:  This notice is to solicit your voluntary participation in honoring this Hero, his family and the Pomona Police Department.  For those interested, all are welcomed.
