The daughters of Carol Ann (Howard) Westrum have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the service and military honors for their mother and Hero, we would be honored to do so.

Carol Ann Howard joined the Army in May 1970, where she served with the 6th Army Division in Colorado Springs, CO during the Vietnam Era, and was honorably discharged in Nov 1971 at the rank of SGT.  During her time in the Army she was married and became Carol Ann Westrum.

After the Army she worked at Bell LANS in Denver which became AT&T.  She moved to Los Angeles in 1987 and worked for Hughes Aircraft in the computer security division, and then took a job with Teradata Corp, which coincidentally became AT&T again, from which she retired in 2001.  Her hobbies included spending time with family and friends, and she loved music, especially Barry Manilow, she was a 'Fanilow', having been to over 300 concerts in the US and the UK to see him.

Carol is survived by two daughters, Michelle LeAnne Jones and Kerri Beth Cortez, 1 brother, Louie Arnold, and 4 grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.
