The family of Thomas James Brown, 74, have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the funeral service and military honors for their Hero, we would be honored to do so.

Thomas Brown served in the US Air Force from Sept 04, 1962 to Feb 10, 1967, and was stationed for much of that time in Vietnam.  He was honorably discharged at the rank of Airman 1st Class.  It took him a long time to accept what he went through in Vietnam and wouldn't talk about it, but eventually was very proud to wear the Vietnam Vet hat his wife bought him, and speak to those everywhere he went about his military service.

Thomas was born in Chicago, IL but his family moved to Los Angeles when Thomas was a child and he grew up there, graduating from Manual Arts High School in 1961.  After the military Thomas went to college and earned his Bachelor degree in Business Education at Cal State Los Angeles.  He enjoyed a very successful career as a Real Estate Agent and Broker, and Real Estate Appraiser.

Thomas loved cooking and traveling and especially spending time with his family, and cooking for them.  He was a funny, witty, good hearted man who lit up a room. He was king of the "one liners".  People were drawn to his charm and warmth and never forgot him after meeting him once.  He will be missed.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 37 yrs Jonnie, daughter Nichelle, son Michael, and Quintin who will forever be like another son. and 6 grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.
